Saint Ambrose College in Anguilla offers a variety of governmentally recognized, faith-based distance learning and residential programs which focus on preparing students for religious vocations, career ministry, or clinical pastoral counseling. In Anguilla, institutions of higher education (colleges) are registered by the Ministry of Business. Saint Ambrose College is credentialed by that ministry.

Saint Ambrose College serves students all over the world. Its degrees have been deemed "equivalent to regionally or nationally accredited degrees in the United States of America" (CUFCE). It is fully authorized to grant religious degrees anywhere in the world within the teaching and tradition of the universal Catholic Church. Saint Ambrose College, incorporated and accredited in Anguilla, British West Indies, operates as an independent, non-profit and exempt ministry.

 California University FCE, foreign credential evaluators has examined Saint Ambrose College's program and concludes: "We can now safely state that degrees awarded by Saint Ambrose College are equivalent to the same degrees awarded by the regionally and nationally accredited colleges and universities of the United States of America."
